Q: Do you offer in-salon appointments? 

A: YES! All appointments are either on-location at your home, hotel, villa, or event space, Los Angeles salon studio, or in Puerto Vallarta Mexico salon studio (by  appointment request only).

PRICING & TRAVEL FEES

Q: Is there a travel fee for on-location appointments?

A: Yes. All on-location services include a $50 USD / 950 MXN flat travel fee within designated zones of Los Angeles or Puerto Vallarta.

Additional charges may apply for extended travel, parking fees, or tolls.   

Q: What if my hair is past mid-back length?

A: An additional fee will apply for longer or high-density hair due to increased time and product usage.

Exact pricing is based on consultation and length, typically $25–$75 USD / 500–1,300 MXN added to the base price.

Q: Can I schedule a consultation before booking?

A: Yes! Virtual consultations are available via WhatsApp or video call for just $25 USD / 500 MXN.

This is ideal for confirming pricing, assessing hair condition, and customizing your service.

Q: Is a deposit required?

A: Yes. A non-refundable deposit of  $25- $50 USD / $500-950 MXN for regular in studio appointments OR a 50% deposit for Special Occasion or on location concierge service is required to secure all appointments. This goes toward your final balance.

COLOR & CHEMICAL SERVICES

Q: What color lines do you use?

A: Primarily  with Wella Professional Color , industry-leading formulas that deliver rich tone, vibrancy, and long-lasting results with minimal damage.

Q: Do you offer relaxers or chemical straightening?

A: No, we do not offer relaxers, perms, or keratin straightening services.  The focus is on maintaining the health and integrity of your natural hair, especially for textured and curly clients.

Q: Can I book a color service with my braid or twist appointment?

A: No. Color services must be booked separately to allow proper processing and timing. If you’d like color before a protective style, schedule your color at least 72 hours before your braid or twist appointment.

Q: Do you offer custom color blends or fashion tones?

A: Yes! Custom tones, balayage, lowlights, and rich fashion colors are available. Pricing varies based on length, density, and formula complexity. A consultation is required for all color correction or multi-step services.

Q: Will color services affect my curl pattern?

A: We use only ammonia-free gloss and conditioning-based formulas when working with curly or natural textures to preserve curl definition and prevent overprocessing. Protective treatments are included when needed.

Q: Is toner included with lightening services?

A: Yes, every lightening or highlight service includes a custom toner or gloss to refine the final shade and lock in shine.

TIMING & PREP

Q: How long do services take?

Timing varies by service.  Examples of Approximate durations:

• Knotless Braids: 4–8 hours
• Balayage Custom Color 2-3 hours
• Cut and Color  2-4 hours 
• Silk Press + Trim:  2 hours
• Two-Strand Twists (with hair): 3–5 hours
• Boho/Mermaid Braids: 5–8 hours
• Loc Extensions 6- 8 hours 

Q: Do I need to wash my hair before the appointment?

A: No, not for hair cut or color service. Most braid and natural styles require clean, product-free, detangled dry hair 

A blowout or wash service can be added for an additional charge if needed—please request ahead of time.

EVENT & GROUP BOOKINGS

Q: Do you offer bridal or group styling?

A: Yes! Concierge packages are available for weddings, birthdays, bachelorette weekends, or vacation prep.

Group and bridal bookings may require a custom quote and a 50% deposit to secure your date.

🚫 CANCELLATIONS & LATE POLICY

Q: What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice will forfeit the deposit.

No-shows or cancellations at the time of service may be charged up to 100% of the full service fee.

Q: What if I’m running late?

Please notify me immediately via WhatsApp. After 15 minutes late, a late fee may apply or the appointment may be canceled at your expense.

Q: Where are you based?

CoCo Luxe Hair Studio operates in Los Angeles, CA and Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.

Travel dates rotate  throughout the year—please check availability when booking.

Q: Do you offer services in other cities?

Yes. Destination bookings outside LA or PV are available with a minimum spend + travel & lodging fee Inquire  via email for a custom quote.

HAIR PROVIDED & COLOR OPTIONS

Q: Do you provide the hair for braid and twist styles?

A: Yes! Pre-stretched, premium synthetic hair is included in most braid and twist services. A variety of popular shades …natural blacks, browns, blondes, and select fashion colors upon request.

Q: Can I bring my own hair instead?

A: Absolutely. You’re welcome to bring your own pre-stretched synthetic hair. However, no discounts will be applied if you choose to supply your own hair.

Q: What brand/type of hair do you use?

A: High Quality tangle-resistant pre-stretched synthetic braiding hair from trusted brands like X-Pression and EZ Braid, known for their soft texture, lightweight feel, and durability. Human Hair is available upon request 

Q: How do I request a specific color or mix?

A: Color requests can be made during booking or consultation. Specialty colors (blondes, highlights, ombré, burgundy, etc.) must be requested at least  1 week  in advance to ensure availability.

Q: Is human hair included for styles like boho or goddess braids?

A: No—human hair (for curly pieces or custom blends) is not included in the base price. If desired, this must be supplied by the client after consultation.
